Rabbi Mendy Labkowski is a lifelong Buffalonian, rabbi, chaplain, and community leader dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout Buffalo and Western New York. As a rabbi serving the Buffalo community, he is committed to providing Jewish guidance, support, and meaningful experiences for people of all backgrounds and stages of life.Whether you are looking for a rabbi to officiate a bris, wedding, or funeral, need a hospital visit, pastoral support, or someone to be there during life's most challenging moments, Rabbi Labkowski is available to provide compassionate, personal care when it matters most.Rabbi Labkowski serves as a Chaplain with the Buffalo Police Department and as a chaplain at Kaleida Health, providing spiritual care, crisis response, grief support, and guidance to law enforcement officers, patients, families, healthcare professionals, and members of the community.He is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Chabad Center for Jewish Life of Buffalo, where he leads Jewish education, community programs, and outreach initiatives across Western New York. As Director of Chabad Young Professionals Buffalo, he helps connect young Jewish adults through educational, social, and volunteer opportunities.With extensive rabbinic training and a warm, approachable style, Rabbi Labkowski believes every person deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and supported.
